The regulations are now on line for two Braemar Charitable Trust scholarships that will be going live later this year.
The Braemar Charitable Trust MBA Scholarship will be awarded in 2022 to one MBA candidate who plans to work or is working in the Not-For-Profit community health sector. The Scholarship will have a total value of $40,000 to be awarded across two years, part-time study. The purpose is to assist a transformational/system change leader who works in a Not-For-Profit organisation in a relevant sector within the Waikato DHB region, focusing on reducing health inequities and improving health access and outcomes for the vulnerable.

One Braemar Charitable Trust Nursing Scholarship to the value of $10,000, will be awarded each year (2022-2023) to a student in their second year of the Bachelor of Nursing. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial support for promising second year Bachelor of Nursing students from populations, communities and/or regions typically underrepresented in nursing who might not otherwise be able to access education. It is specifically intended for those who reside in the Waikato DHB region and plan to pursue a career in nursing upon graduation, in the wider Waikato DHB region.
