The Braemar Charitable Trust sponsored the “BODY ROCK’N” (Medical & Well-being) mini-labs run under the Science Spinners Creative Lab programme for Y9 & 10 students. This year Body ROCK’N was led by two Kudos award winning medical scientists; Endocrinologist Dr Jade Tamatea and Cardio-thoracic surgeon and former Braemar Charitable Trust Medical Trustee, Prof Adam Al Gamel and their awesome teams. Jade and Adam guided and inspired the students through hands-on activities, igniting a curiosity in Science and how it applies to everyday life through Medical pathways. The Braemar Charitable enjoyed the opportunity to work with the Kudos Charitable Trust is to support Science/STEM education and help to build the next generation of scientists, health sector workers and problem solvers, through the Creative Lab.
Thank you Jade, Adam, Valerie, Britney, Georgia and Courtney for taking time from their busy operative schedules to enthuse and inspire our next generation.
