We are absolutely delighted to be able to share with your some wonderful feedback and a wee photo clip to gain a little sneak peek at what has been happening at the Arts for Health workshops at Waikato Hospital.
Arts for Health Community Trust Manager Cass Hendy said "the extra funding has been really helpful in letting the staff have a little bit more breathing space, and for running the programme a bit more smoothly. The extra time has helped us to source and offer a wider range of art initiatives such as making little frames so patients can display their artwork in their rooms, sewing packs for nimble fingers and a few extra 3 dimensional resources.
"It is nice to see that the Hospital continues to support this programme and that it has value for the people that access it. The best part is giving others a reprieve from difficult and worrying moments in their lives and I am glad that we can do this for them".
