Asthma and Respiratory Services Waikato have two brand new Pulse Oximeters thanks to funding they received by the Braemar Charitable Trust. One Oximeter will be used in the clinic and the other in the community for home-based visits and will help to ensure the safety of all children Asthma and Respiratory Services Waikato see. Sheryl Long, Manager of Asthma and Respiratory Services Waikato thanked the Trust and advised that 'the Pulse Oximeters provides quick, real-time assessment of a child’s respiratory health during the initial consult and will replace the current old and less user friendly Oximeters.
