Whare Ora is a healthy homes initiative whose vision is to create safe, healthy, warm homes for Waikato children. The objective is to reduce Waikato’s avoidable child hospital admissions by focusing on those children who are most at risk. The initiative offers practical solutions to address both structural and functional overcrowding, cold and damp homes, allergens, pests and safety - all issues that compromise an already vulnerable group of children. The Braemar Charitable Trust supports this vision and is thrilled to be able to support the Whare Ora programme
