This National Volunteer Week we would like to acknowledge the wonderful contribution volunteers make in our community-thank you for the significant positive impact you are having across some many sectors in our community. In particular, we would like to make a very special shout out and thank all of the fantastic volunteer surgeons and anaesthetists who so willingly provide free quality of life enhancing surgeries to people in our community, as part of the Braemar Community Surgery Progamme. Without your support and advice, we would not be able to provide this opportunity to so many people in our region. Thank you for the difference you are making both as clinicians and as volunteers, to improving health outcomes in our community.
