Last week I dropped in to see the team at Arts for Health Community Trust. Braemar Charitable Trust has been a keen supporter of Arts for Health for over the last 5 years. We are proud sponsor of the "Braemar Charitable Trust Studio" and over the years have funded art therapy workshops in the Older Persons and Stroke & Rehabilitation wards at Waikato Hospital, the Waikato Cancer Lodge and Whakaruruhau Womens Refuge. During COVID lockdown we reallocated our funding, so that Arts for Health could use this to continue deliver art therapy and social connection, through a virtual space.
